From The Clarksburg Library Gray Barker Collection

End of an Era

"With Barker's passing, we must surely close the door on the 'classic' era of saucer research—an era which really ended in the 1950's, with mere echoes in more recent years."

The silver age of the Saucers, the Flying Discs, has ended. I mark the end as having occurred in November of 2012 with the death of my friend, Jim Moseley (aka James W. Moseley), Editor of the longest running UFO magazine in the known universe. Loved, hated, but ever-present in the world of the UFO, or the ‘Saucer’ as he called it, was Jim.
